Social Media Gleefully Celebrates End Of Elon Musk-Donald Trump Bromance

The bizarre bromance between Elon Musk and Donald Trump is apparently over ― and the ramifications are being hilariously felt on social media.

Musk helped Trump get elected and headed the president’s so-called Department of Government Efficiency project until recently.

But their working relationship took a hit this week after Musk repeatedly criticised the thin-skinned president’s so-called Big Beautiful Bill.

Trump even suggested the rupture could be permanent on Thursday.

“Elon and I had a great relationship. I don’t know if we will anymore,” he said. “He hasn’t said bad things about me personally, but I’m sure that’ll be next. But I’m very disappointed in Elon. I’ve helped Elon a lot.”

Meanwhile, Musk responded to an X user that “without me, Trump would have lost the election,” and attacked Trump for his “ingratitude.”

The tiff between two emotionally immature billionaires inspired unprecedented social media snark ― including from the president himself.

Trump took to his Truth Social platform to declare that “the easiest way to save money in our Budget, Billions and Billions of Dollars, is to terminate Elon’s Governmental Subsidies and Contracts.”

He added, “I was always surprised that Biden didn’t do it!”
