A-Level results published on Thursday saw more people secure places at universities than ever before.
But this hasn't stopped controversial columnist Katie Hopkins from pouring scorn over those applying for courses through clearing or students hoping to study media or the Islamic faith.
While a vast majority of those applying to university secure a place at one of their initial choices, others enter clearing after doing less well than they had hoped.
And not content with rubbishing those disappointed in their grades, she's also mocked those planning to begin Media, and Islamic Studies courses.
Of course this isn't Hopkins first controversial opinion - and her efforts to cause outrage have been rewarded with a talk show on little-known digital channel TLC.
Most recently, her column on the plight of migrants has reportedly been investigated by police on suspicion of inciting racial hatred. The outcome of these investigations is not yet known.
