A graduate who handed out CVs at Waterloo Station like they were promotional flyers has landed himself a dream job - showing an inventive approach to employment really does work.

Nigerian-born Alfred Ajani had a 2:1 degree from Coventry University in marketing, but struggled to find a job despite applying for more than 300 positions.

So, instead of giving up hope, he decided to take a different approach.

The 22-year-old caught the attention of recruitment company Asoria Group, who offered him a position via LinkedIn.

And once he got there, he was welcomed with open arms - and personalised t-shirts.

Ajani told The Huffington Post UK: "I knew my idea would work but didn't expect the media attention so I have stayed humble. Most graduates are going to have to go to extreme lengths a to get the job they want."
